In a curious repetition, the angles of the abandoned movie screen echo the angles of the window dividers in the previous post.

The goal here was to render the picture with the narrow range of contrast found in tintypes, and to suggest the metallic tone of those historic photographs as well.

Abandoned drive-ins can be found throughout the US, and like so many things here, they seem to be fading away into ancient history.
