When I see them lined up in order, it makes sense. Like looking through the lens, searching in pano mode, until you get stuck at a point. Perfect as a presented triptyk.
Great to hear, especially since I photographed them to be seen in a group. (And the process of photographing them was very much the pano mode you refer to)
