Thanks Ed. It’s interesting that the group of three closeups I posted earlier were actually taken the same day at the same river, a half hour apart. I shot that group at an area of rapids in partly sunny conditions. Walking upstream adjacent to the river, the weather changed and I found myself at this foggy cove; totally calm… quite the contrast.
I’m guessing the heron is hiding somewhere in the fog, now that I’ve got the answer from your last post. The soft lines of the beach contour harmonize very nicely with the rings in the water.
Yes, he’s back there (one eye on me and one eye hopefully on his fish). Thanks for your comment; I got lucky with the ripples…
