Yesterday’s walk around the trails at Tulmeadow Farm revealed more autumnal colors on the side of an old ice cream truck. The truck is retired, but the working farm is not. The partnership with the Simsbury Land Trust has preserved the fields and adjoining woodlot, and a hiker can continue all the way to Town Forest Road through another parcel protected by the Town. (And yes, the ice cream here is still available; over 50 flavors and the best we’ve had in the area.)
