Birch Music

After (and during) last weekend’s storm, I took a few walks specifically to shoot leaves that came down in the gusty winds and rain. Here, it was a family of birch leaves found in iron-tinged water.

What interests me here, is how the forms and values tug the view toward abstraction without losing the footing of reality.
