A smooth soft image. I particularly like the hint of domestic living in the foreground. Almost an arrow moving towards future domination.
I like your take on the arrow-shaped roof.
This could have been in a hollow somewhere in North Carolina. There’s a sense of timelessness.
Funny, but I can relate to a southern Appalachian feeling here as well. It’s interesting how a long focal length can affect the feeling one gets from a mountain. That, and some graininess…
I guess the graininess can make something look older, which can equate with something farther away or forgotten in time. And the long focal length – I don’t think I can put into words how it affects the emotional tone but I’m sure you’re right, it plays a part. Something to think about. 🙂
You have a good memory, John.
Thanks Ken
