Intriguing place! Does it get cut off by the tide? Love those rust coloured rocks, almost like the rust has rained down on it from the roof.
I think it does get cut off during exceptional high tides. Shelter Island is only ten miles from us (by ferry) — but feels like it belongs in northern New England. The gazebo belongs to a Methodist camp that’s been there for eighty years.
