In Italian, “grazie ancora,” which is to say, “thanks again, my friend” 🔷
Beautiful tones.
I’ve returned to this one a lot because I liked the stately feel of the vertical format, and because it’s landed somewhere between warm and cold. Thanks for your comment
Or it accommodates both warm and cold. 🙂 I worry sometimes about making too many vertical photos because they don’t always read or fit in as easily as horizontals. But I live in such a vertical place – it’s all towering trees. The main horizontal landscape is just open water! It took me a while to figure that out. 🙂 So I’m happy to see your comment about a vertical image being stately. It’s another way to think about vertical compositions.
Good comment Lynn. If I was teaching a university course in photography, your thoughts here would be a lesson plan
First, you know you should teach. Somewhere. I’ll sign up. 🙂
Second, that’s good to know because I tortured myself on and off for years about making vertical compositions. The thought that my discomfort could be useful is nice. 😉 But I know that the things we struggle with can ultimately be very rewarding, too.
