Thanks. Yes, we had a storm about a week ago and more this morning–enjoying it all. Do you have any there?
No we have 10 degrees Celsius!
wow 😮
Nice details in the foreground. I also like the centering of the tree against the innocent snow.
Thanks, those things appealed to me as well. I was at this spot about an hour ago in falling snow. Very different scene…
It’s an odd composition and you pulled it off. Those nice little plants in the foreground, the tree like a leaning gray brushstroke, and that tempting path back into the dark wood. And I know there was recent wind, looking at the snow on the ice. It’s almost like the photographer is saying, “This was here and this was over there, and the branches on the ground were at the edge of the woods…” Joe and I had a running joke, “Things in places!” It was used mostly for the times we were putting things away, which sometimes feels never ending.
What a terrific anecdote. Even though we got to spend a day with Joe a few years ago, I feel like we know him so much better now
🙂 There was a lot of word play and silliness around here with Joe.
Beautiful picture. Do you have already snow?
