Thanks Ule. I see a lot of long exposures of waterfalls taken from far enough away that they look like silken wedding cakes. What I’ve been trying to do is shoot rivers close to the surface so that the sense of place is secondary to a more abstract POV. It’s been an interesting project; some pictures seem to work better in monochrome but others have a lot going on with color. I appreciate your thoughts

I always experience it as a balancing act between the speed of the water, the focal length and the shutter speed. Here, your triptych shows the right balance in my opinion.
