  1. Did you know that in Austria there are supports for electrical wires shaped like animals and birds? I just saw a little article about them this morning. Modern day totems. We need them.

    Your trademark perfect B&W tones here, making the march over the hill much grander than it is, I think. 😉

  2. Thanks, I used the 45mm, and I know you like that lens as well. It’s fun to visualize that telephoto rectangle out there in the landscape. The grand view, after all, is nothing that isn’t already there.

  3. Interesting, the way you think about the 45mm. I like how bright it is – it gets very dark here from now on, with the shorter days, increase in cloudy days, and dense tree canopy. So sometimes I think of the 45 as something to use in fall or winter. Our surroundings have such a strong effect on the way we work.
