Everything looks ancient here, I guess thanks in part to the sepia and grainy surface, but also the stillness somehow.
I thought that too, once I saw it in grainy sepia. I have others of from this same shoot that I should post in color. (This is a lovely blue bug).
The blues of damsels and dragon flies are so beautiful. And who photographs them like this? No one. Well, no one else.
