You have managed to capture my weakness for water, reproducing its eternal cycle, powerful yet soft and smooth – you just want to put your hand down and feel it.
Happy to hear. For a visual artist of any stripe, that cycle is the fountain of youth
Fantastic shot, John!
Many thanks, Ken
Beautiful
Thanks, happy you liked
Such a painting of water action and movement.
Thanks Geoff. For anyone interested, the action and movement are the results of in-camera neutral density filter (Om Systems Om-3).
What a wonderful and exciting image. A splendid piece of work.
Thanks Ed, I appreciate that 🖐
Stopping time, a rushing flow, there are so many contradictions here. The graininess is unlike water but the flow is unmistakable water. the word, “scumble” comes to mind – or something like that. Really beautiful. It’s fun to see you doing something so different.
Since photographs stop time there’s an inherent contradiction with moving water. “Scumble” is indeed a good description; I doubt I’ll get that word out of my mind today…
Nice one!
Thanks Sue. Always nice to hear from you
