Last night found me on Main Street; a windless evening with a gibbous moon. For this image, I braced the phone for a few seconds on a nearby fence post. Many of the trees here have yet to lose their leaves. The hazy glow is from street lamps.

It’s amazing how a still image can make one feel dizzy – that looking-up-vertigo feeling
To me, formatting this image horizontally conveyed less of that. It’s interesting how it can be rotated vertically and still make sense (albeit sense of a different kind) ☺
The foliage, the branches – they have a wild, uncontrollable feeling. The colors are beautiful. The moon pales by comparison. I like the scatter of leaves on tree on the left vs. the lushness of the leaves on the trees on the right. Well, random thoughts I guess. 🙂
Happy to get your comment because I liked this one for all those reasons as well. The palette and the haziness created by street lamps were unexpected pleasures. Thanks 👋⭐
Good!
