Bridport, Vermont appears as a virtual ghost town in this picture, but a very neat, orderly one. Except for the tractor, not a car or a person in sight. It looks like 100 small towns did in that old weird America pre interstates and chain stores. It would be a place to stop and seek out one of those old Coke machines or maybe an ice tea from the counter of a general store. But don’t linger for long because that small strip of highway and that enticing sky filled with clouds is calling to your restless spirit. Who knows what that next dot on the map will look like. Wonderful picture!
