Nature takes back, just a matter of time. Becomes clear when you feel how the oars almost dissolve in the water.
We’d be hard pressed to find a better observation.
row your boat!
Twenty-four years ago……reflection in time!
That’s a good point. It seems like some photographs, if not the majority, start to take on new meaning given enough time.
I’m speechless. It was lucky to see those reflections spilling into that boat, but it tool great skill to turn the scene into a photograph as perfect as this. It feels like you were given a fistful of valuable gifts here and you knew what to do with them (the reflections, the peeling paint, the oars crossed just so, and the rest!).
It’s strange, but I have only the faintest recollection of this place and the process of photographing it. The impermanence conveyed by the subject seems to have grown, in time, to include the experience of creating it.
Thanks for commenting.
