Thanks Ed. The month before and after the winter solstice is my favorite time for photographing the beach. It’s hard to improve on that low-angled sun
Striking composition.
Thanks Gregor 🖐

As always, much appreciated Philip. Hope your Sunday’s going well
Hi John and thanks! Wishing you a great Sunday.
Thanks!
This is the kind of shot that says “This is what photography is all about”.
You’re too nice Ken. Really appreciate the comment
WOW John 👏👏👏
Many thanks. Right place right time: it sometimes helps.
Ooooh, moody!
It was hard to believe no one else was there. (But it was cold.) Thanks for commenting Sue 🌟
😊😊
Excellent
Thanks Chris. Hope you’re enjoying the weekend. 🖐
I do! Thank you!
Beautifully framed! I love the river of light.
Thanks Mike. 🌅
Empty space, just one bird standing out in the remaining light of the day.
Thanks; I took two exposures with the gull in that spot and I think this was the better of the two.
Oh. What an impact. Very nice.
Much appreciated Linda!
Such exciting drama. I can’t help wishing the house wasn’t there but it does seem to relate to the rest fairly well. And of course the gull knows how to find its place perfectly. Yes, everything’s in its place. 🙂
What a wonderful shot
Thanks so much. Nice to hear from you
