the light of a great painter, it reminds me of Rembrandt
Too nice, Chris. He played for your team, but we love his paintings the world over.
I like light 🙂 he was born 4 km from here
This one is great.
Thanks GS. Nice to hear from you
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Much appreciated Philip. Hope the morning finds you well.
Thanks John! Wishing you a great Friday…
Thanks. Much warmer! 🌞
your theme is a constant duo of amber and blue – so harmonious
That sand, that sky– in the last minutes of light. Thanks Laura✍
Amazing!
Good to hear from you– thanks!
Excellent! 🙂
Thanks! 🖐🌟
So unreal in its clarity, like taken from a toy world.
I like the way you framed that. A picture taken in the last minute of daylight bears little resemblance to a picture taken there at noon (or for most of the other 1400 minutes of the day). That’s what I had in mind with “Outermost Day”
Thanks for telling me this – so it is one of the sunset photographs when you turn 90° away from the sun to find the better pictures.
Yes, that’s what I did
I have to chime in, though the others have said it all. This is a wonderful photograph.
Thanks– nice to hear from you.
What more can be said? I love the drama and the colors. The funny thing is that the zig-zag of the fencing works so well with the light and overall intensity of the scene, as if it was placed by an installation artist rather than a homeowner or public works person.
Thanks. It’s not news that I’ve photographed another dune fence. But, now through the end of January, that light is extraordinary enough to keep me coming back year after year.
A very powerful image. Fantastic.
Much appreciated Ed, thanks
Man versus nature, a striking clarity.
Agree, that’s it in a nutshell.
Lovely lines and light
Thanks Sue!

Definitely a good thing to do.
