I really like this and it is a intriguing self portrait. Like your photography it’s a picture of you reflecting on nature! Nice work.
The small window appears to be the same as the larger uper window but I like that it’s a photograph that cannot really be unpicked (despite my mind wanting to do just that!)
Did you produce it in camera or process with layers? I’m going for layers but whichever, its a nice image. I’d expect nothing less than trees growing out of your head π
Thanks for this thoughtful comment. It was taken in-camera, a single exposure. Sadly, nothing much grows on my head anymore. π
Brilliant! I like it even more now I know it was a single exposure. I had convinced myself otherwiseππ§π€¨π

At one with surroundings. Fascinating photo!
Thanks Geoff!
A selfie before it was called a selfie :-)! Wish more people would make them like this one
Thanks ππ
these are the best selfies – being part of the whole – Vivian Maier showed us how
Thanks for drawing attention to her work. There’s a rare rapport with camera in those images; her twin twin lens reflex being handled like a bow by a master archer.
very nicely put John. She has such an interesting bio and discovery of her work too
