Have you noticed with your own images that there seems to be a wide range of readings for foggy landscapes? Not sure why that is…
Honestly, I haven’t thought about it but I will now. I guess there’s no reason why there shouldn’t be lots of possibilities… given that photographers are drawn to fog we’re bound to do different things with it. Thinking out loud….
Not sure I made that point clearly. What I meant to say was a fog-enshrouded landscape might look serene to some, but a little creepy to others. In other words: the same picture is eliciting very different responses from different people. I think the one I posted up above may be a good example of that.
I can see what you’re saying – the tree shapes could have a frightening look, too.
