Seeing the span between new and old there– that’s a good thought
Seeing this on a black background (by clicking on it) really drew me into the scene.
I don’t like black backgrounds but it’s interesting to hear that it works for you.
Black is my favorite color though.

I don’t believe WordPress lets us change that background color on the attachments. A mid-range gray would be an excellent choice and is what almost everyone uses at outdoor art shows for their backdrops.
