I like the way the trees are rendered here, like an old English landscape, with just the right amount of light. Beautiful!
I like the gilded look too and it seems to have descended on the east for the duration of July.
Did you ever wonder, looking at old English or Dutch landscapes, if the light was actually different then? Or if it was just that people had more time and everything went slower?
I’m going with everything went slower; slow enough to find all that missing information which we’re too much in a hurry to see.
