1. An image filled with symbolism in all its simplicity. David vs. Goliath, Darwin goes again, social exclusion, life on the periphery, etc. My interpretations, your picture.

   1. Although we hadn’t yet gotten the news, we lost a close friend to cancer the day I took this. She was solitary, but not without companions… books… ocean… and a cast of friends of every stripe.

      I’d say your interpretation has found its home.

2. Green turns to brown. One leaf resists and stands alone.
