Thanks Philip. Hope your Sunday is a pleasant one.. and reasonably dry!
You’re welcome John…Wishing you a great Sunday!
thanks
The way you render clouds reminds me of an artist/photographer from the Netherlands, Saskia Boelsums.
I wasn’t familiar with her work- thanks. Coincidentally, this part of NY was settled by the Dutch.
Superb skyscape! Such depth and subtle hues that add much texture.
Thanks! Appreciate the comment!
Breathtakingly gorgeous!!!
thanks Ed! 👍
Beautiful
Thanks! ✍
I love the disturbed weather we have this time of year and the skies it produces. This one is mercurial and very exultant, I think. Red Hook – were you upstate again?
This was a rare instance where we actually got drenched before getting back to the car. (The stormy sky may be more apparent in the black and white I posted before this.)
Fortunately…my camera stayed dry. 👍🏼
Yes, Dutchess County and NW CT (which I really like)
NW CT is beautiful! Dutchess County is, too, but I like the more rural atmosphere over in CT. It’s nice to go back, if only vicariously. 🙂 And good thing about the camera staying dry.
Wow. Evocative of the Hudson River school of landscape artists from the 1800’s, particularly the sky. Outstanding.
