4. Wow! A lucky shot?

   1. There was a small flock perched on pilings near the bank. This was one of five or six shots I took of them.

5. A lovely range of contrast, and the wing transformed into a snow-covered mountain. I bow before the magnificent.

6. It’s something of a surrealist’s dream, I think – the strange expression and light, the odd moment stopped in time, the wing becoming sky, and even the treeline, so dark and soft-looking.
