  1. The Peconic is the longest of Long Island’s four rivers, dividing the North Fork from the South Fork at its mouth in Riverhead. This picture was taken last week in the undeveloped woods of Peconic Bog County Park: an unnamed tributary trickling into the Peconic.

  2. Setting and processing work together perfectly with a serene, evocative result. The reflections carry me back to someplace I can’t see – or some time.
