Appreciate that, Ed– thanks. When I’m looking at closeups such as this one, I almost always think of Eliot Porter who was shooting work like this with a view camera over 60 years ago.
So many interesting things to investigate! I always loved those old Elliot Porter photos. They had a real warmth along with the artful way he presented what he saw.
That warmth is not what comes out of the can these days. 😊
Right, now I guess we have to bring it back ourselves. 🙂
