The skinny black shapes (whatever they are!) are very animated, as are the smears. The image is like a blend of rusty dumpster or railroad car finds and tidal leavings. Or even cave paintings.
Thanks for this interesting comment. There was an eerie similarity here with the many Barrier Canyon pictograph sites we’ve visited in southern Utah, and that is what drew me to this image.
