  1. Your photograph is wonderful. So painterly. Tones controlled so well—one of your great strengths. The link is interesting. I didn’t know that printmaking started as a means of illustration and only later became a medium of artistic expression. Thank you for both.

    1. Thanks Linda. I learned quite a bit from that article as well. It’s especially interesting to me that Corot saw so much creative potential in light sensitized plates and paper that far back — photography was still in its infancy.
