The highlighting of the damaged metal and the color contrast between the yellow and the blue shades on the patch are very effective in this image. Looking a little closer, the pock-marked texture of the old steel and the serious scar are really interesting as is all the reflective detail in the metal patch. I like it! The patch job, on the other hand, doesn’t look very effective…
