Marvelous picture. Once again, a natural Rothko. It’s fascinating to see the similarities of a natural photo and hand produced piece of art. This one is fascinating.
Thanks Ed. The wind was blowing sand along the beach resulting in that unusual haze you see. After your comment a few days ago, it occurred to me how much Rothko would’ve loved the view.
Excellent! 🙂
Thanks Harrie- appreciate your comments
Are we underwater? This is an extraordinary take on light and space. I love the direction these last photographs have been going in.
Speaking of light and space makes me think of the LA Light & SPace Movement of long ago. I knew a sculptor who worked with translucent plastic that he colored, shaped, and hung near the wall. The colors he used were brighter than this but this has a similar presence, a shifting, beautiful kind of mystery.
Light and easy, simplicity rules.
Thanks…well-said
