So nice. I like how you processed this one, John. The top part of the image looks to me as if it has a yellow cast. Does it?
Thanks Linda– happy you liked it. That’s filtered sunlight up there. I thought it looked interesting, especially in a scene that’s clearly got winter genes.
So it’s not a black and white image?
No
Cool!
I like that “gray” area that seems like it’s not quite color or black and white. Fog and winter are two good places to look for it. 😊
I’m drawn to the long, spindly, pale branches…and the trees’ refelctions are beautiful.

Reblogged this on l'eta' della innocenza.
Grazie ⚘
Excellent!
Thanks Harrie 👋
Beautiful. The stark wood coming out of the water in the foreground is a perfect counterpoint.
Thanks Michael – I liked it too, especially with the image formatted vertically
This is beautiful John – it feels very musical, I can almost hear singing..
Many thanks Cath. Great to hear from you again!
