6. I like how you’ve positioned your camera to let the reeds take us from the foreground closer to the midground (is there such a term?). The fog is just wonderful and stands out right away, but the rest of this photograph well worth savoring.

   1. I can’t think of another photograph I’ve made recently with such isolated fore, mid and backgrounds. Perhaps that warm soaking light helps the seams melt away. Glad you liked it! Thanks for commenting, Linda.

7. Amazing light! Part of me wants to crop away the bottom quarter or so, to make equal bands of fog, trees, fog and reeds.

   1. That crop definitely works, but the image becomes too pretty for my tastes. 🙂
