There you go again! That’s a part of the Adirondacks I’ve never seen. I’m more familiar with the area around to the Saranac Lakes, Paul Smiths – that general area.
This area is in the less-visited central part of the park, south of the Hudson Gorge, about sixty miles below Paul Smiths. The mountains here are smaller but there’s no shortage of places to explore. It’s especially nice for pristine lakes and wild ponds. You should consider a trip back home… 🙂
Definitely considering it. Thank you.
the landscape is beautiful, it breathes calm
Thanks Yoshimi. That’s always a good thing to hear.
The cloud above makes this for me sumptuous image my friend
Thanks Martin; much appreciated. It makes it for me as well.
Gentle beauty, John. 🙂
Thanks Lynn. Getting a bunch of nice comments from you is like winning the lottery. 🤗
Timeless, gorgeous shot. Thanks to the foresight of the Adirondack Park’s founding fathers, this picture probably looks the same now as it did 100 years ago, except the forest might actually be healthier.
