  1. There you go again! That’s a part of the Adirondacks I’ve never seen. I’m more familiar with the area around to the Saranac Lakes, Paul Smiths – that general area.

    1. This area is in the less-visited central part of the park, south of the Hudson Gorge, about sixty miles below Paul Smiths. The mountains here are smaller but there’s no shortage of places to explore. It’s especially nice for pristine lakes and wild ponds. You should consider a trip back home… 🙂

  2. Timeless, gorgeous shot. Thanks to the foresight of the Adirondack Park’s founding fathers, this picture probably looks the same now as it did 100 years ago, except the forest might actually be healthier.
