There’s that trademark Todaro classic look – smooth and elegant. Beautiful in its simplicity.
Much appreciated. East or west, cedars are great subjects.
They are! I have a vague memory of a wetland in New Jersey fuil of Atlantic cedar stumps – very old one – that you could see from a preserve, with the Empire State Building in the background. That was cool!
NJ has some vast Atlantic White Cedar stands in the Pine Barrens. I would’ve liked to have seen that pic you described.
It’s a scarce tree out here on the East End (this image was Eastern Red Cedar). There are some small stands of Atlantic White in wetlands in Hampton Bays and Riverhead… and a very small grove in Southampton (which I photographed a few years ago):
Excellent!
Thanks Harrie

That’s a peach of a shot I love the tones
Thanks again Martin. There’s some fine trees on this hike.
