Another beautiful apparition, or dreamscape (I’m working backwards). It’s unexpected to go for this look in this photo, and it works so beautifully!
Thanks Lynn. As is often the case, your reaction to this photograph makes me feel like I was doing something right.
One of those images that I find once in a while that makes me stop and really study.
I wish I could see it as a print, but hay ho, at least I do get to see it, even if only on a screen – well made John.
Thanks for your comment. I may print this one soon because I’m also curious about it. I have noticed that dark-toned images with lots of shadow detail lend themselves to that sort of display.
I’m starting to think that certain images work well for twenty seconds on the internet, but they’re often not the same images that work well for twenty years on the wall. 🙂
This is one of those photos that merits extended gazing. Really nice one, John. I’m especially enjoying the tonal range, and I like the “grain.”
Thanks for such a nice comment Linda. Happy you liked it.
Sublime.
Much appreciated Alan
Reblogged this on Le Bien-Etre au bout des Doigts.
thank you again!
Excellent!
Thanks Harrie
