The landscape is really interesting but it’s the utility pole and wires that really make the shot. Or should I say the latter are really interesting but it’s the background that really makes the shot 🙂

Making telephone poles and wires work for you! 🙂 It’s interesting to think about what they do to the image – they seem to enhance the flatness, I think, and make the mountain forms more like a technical drawing, less like a realistic photograph. Something like that.

Coming back to it again, I still like this photo, so much, and it still feels like a drawing or painting, and it makes me want to stop and study the details.
