I think of this as an image taken eons ago just after basic life forms emerged from the sea to live on land.
On a more technical note, I’m curious to know if you waited until the waves broke at the center of the photo to snap the shutter, or was it something more serendipitous? Whatever the case, it’s the perfect touch.

It took about 4 exposures lying on my stomach to nail a wave at the vanishing point. Basically, it involved trying to outfox the very brief shutter delay… kinda funny thinking about it now.
Funny too how the beauty of an image often conceals the effort and difficulty of making it. Not unlike every other creative or inventive expression.
