Considering the subject matter, i.e, looking down on a patch of sand where the water comes ashore, this image has a surprisingly sumptuous depth to it. Love its palette too.
Wish I could take some credit for sumptuous– but in this case, all the credit goes to the iron-rich sand on the east shore of Napeague Harbor and the final two minutes of daylight. I added a bit of cyan and desaturated the reds about 20%.
