5. The Stop sign is terrific in your composition. This photo has,a surreal feel, like De Chirico, maybe because there are no people. Love it!!

7. Gosh, Tucumcari! We used to road-trip through there pretty regularly. (If I recall, the motel we sometimes stayed at looked much like this…) I haven’t thought of that place in ages. Thanks, John!

   1. .. despite the number of boarded up buildings, there’s still a good number of mom n’ pop motels.
      Must have been great driving through there in the old days!
