1. I really appreciate the composition, mostly, the two dark elements in the foreground, in diagonal corners—the contour of the foliage mimics the contour of the turkey’s back—subtle, subliminal. And then, of course, the fog-shrouded forest, all composed to lend a very delightful photo.

    1. Wild Turkeys have made a nice comeback here– not rare by any stretch. I also got an image of three geese at the same field which I haven’t posted yet.

12. Even without the turkey, it’s such a pleasing image! The turkey brings a bit of fun, I think. Maybe it’s because they’re such amusing creatures.
