You are capture so many of the fleeting sublime moments of winter. Just when I think I’ve had enough of it, I am charmed all over again.
thank you Karen
Very graceful – I think people are used to seeing the bare branches in sharp relief against the winter sky, but this is different, and tells more of the story. You’re having quite the winter John!
thanks Lynn
This is gorgeous – the fine snow is giving it an aged quality almost. I’d love this on my wall!
Thanks Cath. Falling snow created its own filter, as it were.
There is something quietly disturbing about this photo. Beautiful in your composition of the image, almost like it was sketched by an artist. But why do I feel the desolation the longer I view it?
Wonderful comment which I’ll respond to with one of my favorite quotes from Diane Arbus:
“A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know.”
My kind of shot love it
Thanks much!
Lovely.
thanks
