Oh, Love this so much – trees dancing with their shadows!! …so beautiful!! Thank you, John!!
great comment. thanks Kari.
Ah! This is excellent. I love it for its shadows. Eyes are flicker around. This has so much to do with winter. Great.
nice to hear from you KUM..”eyes flicker around”.. good description.
Magnifique. Un jeu entre le réel et les ombres, entre les troncs rugueux et la neige lisse. J’aime beaucoup. bonne journée, val
Thanks Val. J’aime cette pensée: “Un jeu entre le réel et les ombres…”
bon après-midi, jT
Wonderful shot, John. It works really well with the accompaniment of late period Robert Wyatt, I’ve just discovered.
Good to know!
Una Gran Composición, Muy Bueno El Contraste Entre El Blanco Y El Negro. Un Saludo.
muchas gracias!
I’ve been absent…so I’m glad you’re not taking these down…this is really beautiful! The two in front are nice and flat/close, then the shadows repeat the curves, drawing the eye to the trees in the background, which give more perspective. There’s a lot going on but it’s all tightly tied together. Even the gentle snowy slope echoes the curves!
Glad to hear you like this one and I like your description which almost suggests a loose basket weave.
Wonderful photo! “trees dancing with their shadows.”, (like Kari said already).
