Oooh! Nice new theme and avatar, John.

I love the chaos of the room and the calm of the outdoors. It’s a poem.
Thanks for such a lucid comment Lynell.. always enjoy your thoughts.
i like the light vignette a lot. and nice new avatar indeed 😉
Thanks Peter– the gravatar is actually the same, in milk chocolate 😉
Stunning shot, John. Was this dramatic destruction or the slow drip drip kind?
Thanks Richard. Don’t know which…my hunch is that it came in several waves of dramatic destruction.
Wow! What happened here?
I like how you treated the colors. Like a faded glory.
Thanks Mary-Ann. I like that as an alternate title: “faded glory”.

Hmm quite a story here! it somehow feels like a place in the wrong place..
… great comment!
This is like a muted tones take on Mondrian’s Broadway Boogie Woogie – all those squares, obviously, but also the play between background & foreground, or rather the shifting between 2-D and 3D that seems to happen.
Wow, what a frame. Great job again, John!
Thanks so much Ingo. Comment much appreciated.
Bella….ma un pochino di tristezza la fa….
