Why do I get the sense it’s not a sincere welcome?
ominous sky perhaps
?
Yep!
It’s the thought that counts!
A beautiful shot with those brilliant low clouds glowing.
thanks Patti 🙂
Welcome to New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment, home of Sky National Park. This state lacks a major national park, but the ever present, ever changing, big sky, as represented in this compelling photo, is a presence that cannot be ignored. A lot of the countryside resembles the tired, unspectacular, long habitated, semi-arid appearance that this picture evokes. An honest look at a place that some of us can never get enough of.
“Sky National Park” – wonderful thought from the elder sibling. That’s the only park that will be open to the public this morning now that this unfortunate shutdown has materialized.
Always nice to hear from you….
Looks like a barrel of fun. ; )
The opposing angles with the clouds and sign are wonderful.
thanks Karen.
Impossibly jolly somehow that sign, like it’s trying its very best! 🙂

I’ve been enjoying the irony myself. 🙂
