This is wonderful – it has the atmosphere of an Yves Tanguy “landscape”.

I like it how the top pops forward, more than it “should,” if that makes sense. I guess that is like Tanguy too (re above comment), maybe.
Yes, it’s an unusual effect. The sun was at a very low angle here, and so there were shadows for each of the sea foam squiggles. That’s probably what gives this picture such a tactile sense of shape and space. Thanks for stopping by, Rose.
