also one of my favorite roads, if that’s not an oxymoron.
Brower had his freight trains. Exceptions are permitted.
Great shot – and the wonkiness of the poles in the background add to the image! 🙂
Thanks Richard. I probably would’ve passed on this picture were it not for the wonkiness.
Haha! 🙂
If the poles were neat it would look different but I favour this loosely fitted pattern! Makes it kinda cool! I can imagine why you are fond if this place John!
Perhaps the poles say something to us about resilience and a good sense of humor.
I agree!! I like this road.
This shot looks full of love. Is it possible to feel protective towards telegraph poles?
Thanks Richard. Wonderful question.
Yes, a charming and delightful, if wistful question – much like the image.
I love this question too, for his pic. They are so individual somehow, and flawed and really disastrous and/yet/despite, lovable, maybe. 🙂
I felt just the same as those above – why are these so tender? I think I like that they are unperfected, useful, but still flawed, human – so much in our lives now seem so “clean”, with hidden digital workings, it’s hard to see the functionality..do I make any sense here?!! 🙂 Anyway – great and thought provoking shot!
