There’s one I’d happily hang on my wall John. Beautiful composition! I’m taking notes.
Thanks Chillbrook…those are some very thoughtful words.
Beautiful, John. Love the tonal range, the vignetting, the composition, the subject, and your verse (The home’s front windows have been warmed by October sunrises for over 100 years).
Thanks 🙂 Much appreciated John.
The fence with its shadow is really striking. I can image how you are thrilled by this kind of subject and light again and again. Cheers – KUM
Thanks. I was happy to have a cloud in the picture which repeated the angle of the fence shadows.
Wow what a great picture could look at this picture all day long and never get tired of it.
many thanks! 🙂
Love the curved and lines with this one. The undulating dunes and shadows really lead you in! 🙂
Really nice comment…thanks Richard.
No worries! 🙂
Magnifique compo. Le jeu d’ombres, la maison, le ciel, voilà une photo vraiment splendide!
“Le jeu d’ombres” — wonderful words. Merci pour les commentaires, Val 🙂
Fantastic shot, John. Great work!
Thanks for commenting Anette…I’m pleased to hear that it resonates with you.
Amazing, delicate rhythm in that fence and their shadows.
thanks so much!
I love this photo, it’s very beautiful. The shadows of the fence on the sand add an interesting effect and texture. Without it this photo wouldn’t be the same !
Thanks for such nice comments, Jocelyne
Great series John!

So much movement and music in this photograph..and your words sing along with it and take us there. Love it.
thank you Cath, writing such nice things is one of your many talents.
A very graceful shot..Something about the black and white composition really draws my attention to the beautiful shape of the dunes that might have missed me in a color shot..
